Mandaadi box office: cited figures and their limits

The Times of India's 7 October update reports the makers' ₹150 crore worldwide milestone for Mandaadi. It also reports a ₹100 crore Tamil Nadu milestone. These are attributed maker claims, not independently audited totals. 7 October report.

How to read the table

India net and India gross are different measures. Do not add them together. The report's India gross and overseas figures add to its stated worldwide figure, which is a basic arithmetic consistency check. Matching arithmetic does not prove that the underlying ticket data is complete or audited.

Also avoid adding worldwide gross to overseas collections. The worldwide measure already includes an overseas component in this report. A larger total produced by that addition would count part of the business twice.

What cannot be concluded?

The figures alone do not establish profit, distributor recovery or a final lifetime collection. Those questions require further records and clear definitions. This article does not invent a budget, subtract one from gross or declare a return on investment from incomplete information.

We do not reproduce an unsourced daily series. If a future source updates the totals, the next entry must include its own date and measurement labels. Does the total settle whether the film is good?
