Meesaya Murukku 2: release and OTT date status

IMDb lists Meesaya Murukku 2 (மீசைய முறுக்கு 2) for 25 September 2026 in Malaysia. The official trailer identifies Hiphop Tamizha in the promotion. This article records the listed cinema date and explains what the sources do not establish. IMDb listing.

Is there a verified OTT date?

No digital premiere or platform was verified for this page. The correct answer is not an estimated number of weeks after the cinema opening. A title-specific platform announcement is needed before we can give a streaming day with confidence.

This distinction helps avoid a common search trap. An article can discuss a film's eventual move to streaming without reporting a real agreement or release announcement. Read the sentence that contains the date. If it says “expected”, keep that word when sharing the information.

Use the sequel's own trailer

The Meesaya Murukku 2 trailer on YouTube is the promotional link used here. Search results can mix sequel clips with the original film, songs and fan edits. Check the full title and year rather than choosing the first video with a familiar thumbnail.

The official video's description identifies Khushbu Sundar and ACS Arun Kumar as producers. It also credits Hiphop Tamizha as director and composer. These are production roles, not extra acting credits. The cast table is a short identification list, not the complete cast. Official trailer credits.

Can you still see it in a cinema?

The database release date is historical by the date of this article. It cannot tell you whether a nearby venue has a show today. Use your city in a ticketing search, then check the language, showtime and certificate on the actual booking page.

Readers outside India should check a local distributor or cinema listing. The listed Malaysia date does not establish a simultaneous release in India or every other country. We do not interpret a missing overseas show as a cancellation.

What will change this page?

An official platform listing or a dated announcement can replace the current “not verified” label. A new search snippet alone is not enough. The broader OTT date guide explains the evidence to look for, and the weekly shortlist includes only the new premiere supported by the research collected here.
