Tamil OTT release dates: FAQ

Which Tamil movies release on OTT this week?

For 5 October 2026 to 11 October 2026, this guide records Mandaadi: Netflix, 8 October 2026. Dates marked reported come from secondary reports.

What are the Tamil OTT release dates this month?

October 2026: Sardar 2: Prime Video, 1 October 2026; Mandaadi: Netflix, 8 October 2026; Dorothy: Netflix, 23 October 2026. Only original Tamil films are included in the catalogue.

What does confirmed or reported mean?

Confirmed means a dated official platform, maker or distributor announcement was checked. Reported means a news date or a platform record whose exact date remains unknown. A film listing does not establish its premiere day or account playback.

Where can I find new Tamil movies on OTT?

This guide has sourced entries for Netflix, Prime Video, JioHotstar, ZEE5, Sun NXT, aha. Use the platform pages for this month's dates and older catalogue entries. Check Tamil audio and regional access in the service.

Is the OTT date the theatrical release date?

No. The table records cinema opening and streaming premiere separately. Unannounced OTT dates stay unknown. We do not calculate them from a fixed number of weeks after theatres.
